Lisa Smith

My name is Lisa Smith; I live in Winterville, NC with my husband, Mark. We have five children

children; one daughter and four sons. I am an alumna of East Carolina University, where I

earned a Bachelor's degree in English, an MAEd in Instructional Design and Technology, and a

Master’s in School Administration (MSA).

I have been working in education for twenty-four years. I began my career as a high school

English teacher and then as an instructional coach, multi-classroom teacher, reading specialist,

and assistant principal.

‍

I am actively involved in our church, Reedy Branch OFWB, and community. I enjoy spending

time with family and friends in my free time, tending to my garden, and watching my sons play

baseball.

I am excited to join the NERSBA Early College team, and I look forward to building lasting,

positive relationships with the staff and students of NERSBA.
