NERSBA's Got Talent Show is Held

NERSBA is full of people with many talents outside of the academic spectrum. With this in mind, the school hosted its first ever “NERSBA’s Got Talent Show” on Thursday, December 10th. This talent show was the first of an annual tradition at NERSBA. The show was planned, set up, and executed by our own NERSBA scholars: Jose Camargo, Rosie Lilley, Blake Hagen and Jared Lopez. Auditions for the talent show took place in November. Talents included singing, guitar playing and tumbling acts. The talent show first place winner was Mark Baur for his performance of playing and singing “Hallelujah”. Second place was awarded to Abigail Spencer for her vocalization of “Dancing in the Sky”. Third place was awarded to Caleb Smith for his tumbling act. The show was extremely successful and all proceeds are being used for the prom in May.

“All the participants are extremely talented and, although not everyone got a prize, everyone won. I am honored to have gotten the opportunity to work with them and am looking forward to the next talent show!” – Jared Lopez.
