Scholars Participate in FFA Wildlife Camp
Several scholars had the opportunity to attend the FFA Wildlife Camp from Sept. 16th- 18th. Those attending participated in many different seminars covering topics from taxidermy and decoy carving to outdoor cooking and fishing lure building. NERSBA Scholars were very successful in several of the weekend's competitions with Johnson Buck and Margo Lilley winning the GPS competition and Hunter Ledford winning third place in the Turkey Call event. Johnson Buck also won a year's subscription to the NC Wildlife Magazine which he will graciously be donating to the school for use in the Agriscience department. Mrs. Bennett and Mr. Riggs chaperoned the trip and are looking forward to taking even more students next year.
